Objectives:
Your Physical health is the part of health that deals with the condition of your body. Things you can do to maintain physical health include: eating balanced meals, exercising, getting enough sleep, drinking enough water, and avoiding harmful things like alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.
Emotional health is the way in which you express your feelings. People who are emotionally healthy usually do the following: express their emotions in healthy ways deal with sadness and ask for help if they need to, accept both their strengths and weaknesses.
Mental health is the way you cope with demands of daily life. People who have good mental health usually have these characteristics: the ability to handle stress and solve problems effectively, are open to new ideas and new ways of doing things, can adjust to change.
Social health is the way you interact with people. How are your social skills? To find out ask yourself the following: Am I considerate of other people?, Do I show respect to others, Am I dependable, do I support my friends when they make good choices, do I share my feelings with my friends.
Spiritual health: Is your religious faith, values, beliefs, principles and morals.
Wellness is a state of good health that is achieved by balancing your physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual health, the five parts of health.
