OBJECTIVE & ASSESSMENT CHOICES FOR NUTRITION
OBJECTIVE: IN EVERY CHOICE THE STUDENT MUST ANALYZE HOW NUTRIENTS AFFECT HEALTH.
CHOICES:
1. Make a personal nutrition wellness plan for two of the special needs people listed.
a. Each person must have a menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a day.
b. The menus must be a balanced diet( something from each nutrient must be included) that accommodates that persons special need.
c. Give reasons for the choices of foods you pick.
d. Make sure you analyze how those choices affect health.
2. Create a healthy 5 day lunch menus for the school cafeteria.
a. State the nutritional value of each menu.
b. Make sure the menus are balanced nutritionally.
c. Make sure you analyze how those choices affect health.
This project can be submitted by e-mail or a paper copy.
